Good interview. Seems like Ryles is happy with the status quo.
That might buy him another year or two at most. If I were him I'd be as active as I can in the player market.
Our jnrs will get pillaged once we have another two clubs come in, so he shouldnt be resting on his laurels - we don't have another 10 years like BA had.

Club is already locking up juniors long term. My understanding is we have more signing extensions coming down the pipeline beyond the introduction of the new clubs.
"Lock up" in the NRL means SFA and you know it. Unless these juniors are guaranteed top 30 or starting spots in their favourite positions they'll agitate for a release whenever they want ... invariably they'll get it
Under the old regime that was a strong possibility, a small group of players signed on irresponsible contracts of course is going to deter youth from remaining at the club. Ryles said it himself that we are prioritizing opportunities from within amongst our youth. This is the way forward.
Still doesn't stop them wanting out of their contract though and doesn't mean they're gonna turn out to be any good. For every 10 great SG Ball players there is 0.5 good FG players.
Nah - it's an interesting exercise to wonder which half of which player would make in FG. Left or right, top or bottom? Then if we get a good left half in one group and a good right half in in another, can we graft them together with sone Tarzan's Grip and sticky tape to make a whole new FG player?
If you keep looking at that way in your mind it's not worth trying. The development space has been Parra's strength in that past you keep echoing why can we not revisit that space. Why is it out of the realms of possibility to do so.
"lol.....Fearless Fly glasses. I thought I was the only person on the planet who would remember Fearless Fly. Next you'll be saying you remember the formulae for making Milton The Monster
"
"TAD, Great points & questions. We were the better team. They were the bigger names. And were expected to win. They expected it. Classic David and Goliath.
We were more at one and sychronized than we have been, and it frustrated the Broncos at times…"

Could just say 1 in 20

That's what it is now we have to hope we can improve on that.
Hope ....our club's record in this regard is appalling. We need more than hope.
