OUTs: Kelma Tuilagi, Kitione Kautoga, Sam Tuivati

Referee: Liam Kennedy

Centre Sean Russell returns from concussion so Brian Kelly moves to the wing and last week's debutant Araz Nanva slides to the interchange. Charlie Guymer and Jack Williams are the new second-rowers in place of Kelma Tuilagi (head knock) and Kitione Kautoga. The loss of bench forward Sam Tuivaiti (head knock) sees Saxon Pryke join the bench for his NRL debut. Prop Toni Mataele has also been added to the bench as he chases a second NRL appearance after debuting in Round 11 last year.

  • This is going to be very ugly. I can see this Eels side/s in 2026 breaking all types of negative records.Wooden Spoon for certain. There's no way back from this unfortunately. It will be 40- Zip by halftime and the Dogs will ease off the pedal for 10-15 minutes and put another 15 to 20 points on to end the game.

  • Eels 20+

  • EA as always has nailed his reponses regarding the debut of Saxon Pryke.  He will tackle all day, well do his runs  he will protect his inside shoulder and from what I have seen he wont get caught in the chair position and letting BURTON and CO make all the right calls.    This as always will be a physical affair.  WE have to match them and we need to really create opportunities a pass orf two off teh ruck. BURTON can sometimes be exposed when the attack is deep and they are shiftng the ball....    Glad Lorenzo isnt starting 6 against Dogs.  They would have eaten him alive.  Pick our batles I say.   Ruseel back is a massive IN for us. He will control Xerri and his work with JAC will be vitally important.  Key as always is when the momentum train arrives, you need to find ways to arrest it and create pressure for them not us.

Not confident by any means by I am happy this team has winnable points ion them if they can really improve their defence against kikua and co....

Dragons prop Loko Pasifiki Tonga formally requests to talk to NRL rivals'

    Su'a bringing Loko Pasifika Tonga?

  • Surely if your Teancum or Lorenzo, your management will be ringing up Perth Bears and PNG to get a run in first grade. Wouldn't blame them if they left

    • They literally just signed contracts till the end of 2028 lol

    • Ryles is doing the right thing by not picking them, you don't throw them to the wolves.

  • Only thing I like about this team list is Williams back on the edge. He misses way too many tackles in the middle and his carrys aren't effective in the middle
