More injury drama for Parra with the loss of Bailey Simonsson (ankle), Sean Russell (concussion) and Jonah Pezet (hamstring) causing a major reshuffle. Araz Nanva will make his debut on the wing, Will Penisini is back from a groin injury in the centres and five-eighth Ronald Volkman plays his first NRL game since Round 2 last year.

I hate feeling so irritated and annoyed this early in the season - being so close to that comeback win and keeping on track with success on sun .....
between injuries and petty retribution from the hierarchy it's going to take effort to keep inspired for the season 😞
At some point we have to wonder why the players are dropping like flies. It's there something wrong with our strength and conditioning programs?
Almost all have been contact injuries. Can't really do much about that.
Yup. We've had 0 muscle issues so far this year from memory.
Penisni was groin and Volkman was hammy but yeah nothing major.
Something is definitely on the nose and it ain't dirty underwear
The injury toll is mental. We have 9 players out (including Matterson and Rich Penisini).
We should be given dispensation for the inuries caused by foul play. I'm quite sure there would be adequat players from either the Bears or QLD Cup that could do a job.
Could Volkman being named at 6 being more to do with him being a top 30 player and needing permission to play Lorenzo?
How are the Panthers the club with least amount of injuries 5 years in a row. Cannot be a coincidence
Fittest, Mentally Strongest, Competition for spots, No overpaying, Training intensity, quality S&C.
Look at Luai at Tigers coming back weeks ahead of schedule.
