                    • And we complained about that fact for weeks. But its done.

                    • But this is the thing the club created this with the options when your talking a club that doesn't develop and leaves an avenue open for another club to take our best for me is an issue.

Your right he could have chose to stay but let's be real here 14 mill the biggest in nrl history for him to move what are you doing he's more than shown his loyalty been here 9 years.

The issue here is we aren't a club strong enough to lose talent like that. When your trying to end a 40 yr drought how is that a smart decision it didn't need to be like that it is and here we a club stop gap for a season and revisiting the same shit next season.

Ive moved on trust me but don't be trying to tell me this club has or has a planned or better option on the horizon because they haven't and you can spin it all you like.

                    • Yeah, you're right. PM...and there is a chance (moses foot anyone?) that it works out really well for us...but we are a damaged fan base and we expect the worst...that someone or everyone fucked up...and while we wait for the worst to occur, as it obviously will, we sling shit and domscroll and wail like middle-eastern women

Learning through repetition is super effective...so here we are

                    • The brightside is that we are not Tigpies fans that havent even played finals since 2011.

                    • and that we are not Dogs fans...because Dogs fans fucking suck

                    • Coryn, I’m probably too old to join you in the kiddie pool of gutter-trash talk.

The idea “Parra First” means never signing a short-termer? Or you “can’t develop players" if they leave? That’s a Walt Disney movie script.

And the player-options meltdown? You talk about them like they’re the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. The club binned that stuff right months after the ’22 GF: no contracts with POs were issued after that. We have none at now.

Essentially, all clubs use POs or have used them outside say the Dogs and Panthers. And now us. We have also drawn a firm line on them. It's yet another nuanced "reality" you overlook like some other ideas.

Anyway, keep lecturing others about not moving on from BA (2024) while you’re still yelling at contract clauses.

                  • Coryn Hughes  He signed for a year - therefore he should be there for a year; Lomax signed for what 3-4 years? and there were rumblings midway or so during the season? Its simple - the club comes first. I have no issue with Lomax but my view is he made his bed. If players choose to leave with the clubs blessing, so be it; we move on and use or attempt to use his wage eslewhere. We all know the story with Pezet and Coryn, thats another story on here too. My point being we need guys who want to be here.

              • I'm not fussed either way but if doesn't come back we need to sign another experienced outside back, we have zero depth with  proven first grade experience.

              • They just signed a guy whose doing exactly the samething using us as a stepping stone for something better. They know about that deal all along. There's not that different with Lomax it cost him a chunk of cash to get out early he's paid that.

What I'm not liking is we don't have any sought of long term replacement of the talent that's going out the door that's the concern I've been echoing and with the club in a rebuild phase we aren't strong enough talent wise to lose players of the caliber of Brown or Lomax that's the concern.

Me I put all the BS narratives aside and look at what we have and just put it in simple terms ok Browns gone are we a better side with Lomax in it or without him if the answer is the first get a deal done and let's get on with the rebuild.

          • not actually overcharged with genious's....,well you just proved that Poppo, Lol
