Back or not, I am quite relieved that he is OK. He is a unique voice here and a great human.
If you are lurking Tad all the best to you and the Grandson. Much Love

Thanks, Randy. I managed to touch base briefly with TAD yesterday, and he's doing okay. I do miss him on here.

mmmmmmmm i wish i had your rose coloured glasses Adam, The way i remember the year was nothing like just shy of finals footy. With 3 weeks to go we were wooden spoon contenders. Please let's not forget we only had 8 wins all year. I agree our last coup,e of weeks was good footy, but a few good weeks does not make a season, nor get us playing finals footy.

Adam, Hopefully, we can build on the improvement we showed over the year, especially the last circa two months.
Many here might not have faith in Ryles or the club, but they can't lose their trust and faith in themselves. Keep chipping away.
PS: Bluey. Correction we won 10 games, not 8 games. 3 short of finals. Quite often 12 wins is enough. So, Adam's reasoning is not completely off the planet. I suppose it's perception; feelings influenced.

It's a start mate, the foundations have been laid ready to be built on in 2026. I was optimistic even after round 1, mainly due to how Ryles carried himself in the post match presser when absolutely everything was against us.
From there things started going our way, we got better and better and by the final round I didn't want the season to end. As HOE says, those were just my feelings. I was proud to be an eels supporter and I think the future is bright.

I also forgot to mention that every player (individually I mean) improved under Ryles over the course of the season. You could put in an argument for Lomax regressing towards the end but it wasn't by much. All good signs in my view.
Is taking him back a weak stance?, it's not as if he left on bad terms, people in the club are probably annoyed he made the decision to go but I doubt there is any animosity.
I agree with what you are saying about the perception of being weak but I don't see taking him back as being weak.

0/4 (0%) : Horrid start.
5/13 (40%) : Slow growth.
5/7 (71%) : Positive signs.
