    • Though i feel many here are going into histeria as this could have been a link months ago and since we have signed Da Silva, as it doesn't make sense going for him. Had we not signed Da Silva, Havili makes sense in that he would be a 14 that could play forwards and fill in for Smith for a break.

If we did get him for cheap, then have to deal with it, not great but if we get him along with 2-3 other good signings who cares. Could be a nice third string Hooker.

  • Would cost literally nothing lol, prob be a fringe nrl spot 😂 any good players eels are chasing you won't hear about it in media

  • Canterbury he's all yours G

  • No! No! No! Nooooo!

If this is true, MON should be kicked on his butt by a thoroughbred horse. This is crazy!

    • What's this got to do with Mon. Ryles picks who he wants, not Mon.

      • @Michael, Tell us you don't know how it works without telling us you don't know how it works.

        • Wiz, tell us why you're a wanker without telling us you're a wanker.

      • It is a mixure of Ryles saying he wants this person and MON gets them and Ryles saying he wants say a Hooker and MON finds one. Or MON suggests certain players to Ryles. I believe Ryles would get final say.

      • Not quite right Michael, Ryles states what type of player he is after and the recruitment committee then work out between them all how much they have, who's available, who to talk to and what to offer. Ryles is but one cog in a system of 4 people when recruiting.

We know what and whom Ryles has asked for and the committee headed by Mark O'Neill, Ben Rogers and the CEO / Board have come back empty handed. A week later they usuallt declare a new signing consisting of either "an old man or youth with potential" with great booyah !

  • lol, maybe the governments giving our bean counters tax exemptions for employing elderly ?  The Equal Opportunity Eels.

Cameron Munster has been moved to fullback for the game against Penrith today and Jonah Pezet has been picked at 5/8 to replace him. This is a good chance to see what Pezet has to offer at 5/8 and if he's worth going after.
