  • Rest of the playing group probably feels the same way, what a terrible deal that was for the club. Just play out of parramatta from now on thanks 😂

    • I think it became obvious after the first few years the players hated it. After the novelty of going and playing somewhere new wore off the reality of a very draining, both physically and mentally, slog turned into a negative experience.

We went from having a lot of success their to being flogged every time. Mentally they were no longer turning up.

      • They also moved it from June/July to April. So from about 40% humidity to 80+% humidity.

        • That's was to coincide with ANZAC day at times other times made no sense.

          • Should have kept it in the June/July school holidays. I am guessing that the NT Govt wanted it out of tourist peak season to attract a few more visitors.

  • One of the worst decisions ever to play up there for 10 years or whatever it was.

    • The worst decision was agreeing to a 10 year deal. It should have been like Dolphins, 3 years then review it.

  • What I don't get he seems to have been set on retiring after the Darwin game .. why not retire earlier in the year

    • It was when Ryles dropped him after that. Let's be fair.
