Rest of the playing group probably feels the same way, what a terrible deal that was for the club. Just play out of parramatta from now on thanks 😂
I think it became obvious after the first few years the players hated it. After the novelty of going and playing somewhere new wore off the reality of a very draining, both physically and mentally, slog turned into a negative experience.
We went from having a lot of success their to being flogged every time. Mentally they were no longer turning up.
They also moved it from June/July to April. So from about 40% humidity to 80+% humidity.
That's was to coincide with ANZAC day at times other times made no sense.
Should have kept it in the June/July school holidays. I am guessing that the NT Govt wanted it out of tourist peak season to attract a few more visitors.

One of the worst decisions ever to play up there for 10 years or whatever it was.
The worst decision was agreeing to a 10 year deal. It should have been like Dolphins, 3 years then review it.
What I don't get he seems to have been set on retiring after the Darwin game .. why not retire earlier in the year
It was when Ryles dropped him after that. Let's be fair.
