Parramatta enter the race for Trey Mooney

Bring him home. Former Parramatta junior and current Canberra Raiders Prop, Trey Mooney, has been targeted by Parramatta, along with St. George Illawarra and Newcastle. Nice young forward, leg speed and potential. Thoughts?

    • Do that and he'll be looking for a new club quick smart.

Who wants to told 'we thought you were good enough but ...yeah ...you ain't! You were just better than the other rubbish players we had'

      • Never said he was not good enough. Not sure how you got that from what I said.

        • I thought your statement saying he needed to develop in reserves meant he is not good enough for FG yet. Still think the young guy may take it that way anyway.

          • I think he is good enough for FG. We badly missed him when he was injured. Just saying if we recruit 1-2 more quality middles for 2026 that Tuivita would probably end up dropping of the bench because currently everyone else I put in that team list above is better than him. That being I am also saying that is not the worst thing for Tuivita since he did not even get a chance to develop by playing a season of cup which is normally very important for a 20 year old prop. He went from JF to NRL within a pre season. 0 cup games last year

    • Hopgood can go back to nsw cup

    • I think putting big Sam in NSW cup would be a step backward. The kid has shown that he can handle 1st grade and should stay there to take his game to the next level.

  • Hopgood needs to bulk up, he doesn't bend the line or have the strength to put his head through the line and look for the more standard offload

"I believe If the team that knocks it on touches the ball the play is dead. There is another rule book that states if it is knocked on and goes out either dead ball line or sideline it is a scrum from the knock on."
