The realities of any website is you will get troublemakers. I ask other members to please refrain from encouraging the idiots. It might be entertaining for a little while but it quickly gets boring.
To any member, now or in the future, I will act quickly when you start to denigrate the footy chat. There are always some lighter blogs and indeed they can be very popular but when members hi-jack the more serious football discussions that myself and other members have a preference for, you're going to get locked out.
We have a group called Club 1Eyed that's for non-football chat. And people don't make my job easier when they retaliate at a similiarly infantile level.

While i dont want to see this forum become over moderated like some others, there is a line and sometimes it gets crossed.
I'll put my hand up as having retaliated ... but it wasnt until after weeks of biting my tongue (or keyboard) before i couldnt take it anymore!
Looking forward to a bit more normality and light heared conversations that dont disintegrate into name calling and in-fighting
So ... who's going to win this weekend?????
I know people will tell me not to take it personally and not to read it if I don't like it, but it upset me to be criticised about my remarks regarding Parraside and then to continue to read the blogs.
I think you have made the right decision. :-)
I give members who have been around here for a long time, a lot greater lee-way than I do new members, and I would encourage the mods to do likewise.
