Raiders will get bounced. They should have iced that game on numerous occasions but lacked the finals smarts to do it. Now they will struggle physically but more importantly mentally to rise again. I fear NRL headquarters have deemed it a Melbourne/Broncos GF. This I cannot watch.
Why - and both teams did it - when they needed to get into a position for a field goal, the runner with the ball ran out to his wingers? On the 3rd, 4th, 5th, just run straight at the posts to set the kicker up. These guys are highly paid professional footballers and a six-year-old could tell them that.
I thought the exact same thing.
I realise it was extra time not golden point but you're down there in front of the sticks, back end of the set, take the one point and get the ball back. Crazy stuff not to take the shot.

Me too although they're playing the easier teams. The Warriors were woeful and now they play Canterbury ( Panthers Part 2) who have some injuries.
That was the best game of league surely
Entertaining game, but disappointed with the presser. Had the popcorn ready for the Rickster to blow his stack and got zero.

Ricky stuffed up changing Raiders Saturday game to Sunday. Now they have 1 less day to prepare for next week despite half the team being rested the week before Broncos game when turn around wasn't an issue.
Physically, recovery and rehab is great now but it will still have some after affect after playing an extra 15mins of tough footy, but the mental toll of that game is the bigger issue. Sharks should beat the raiders next week.
I will say Melbourne vs Broncos Grand final with Melbourne to win and Munster Clive Churchill dedicated to his dad who died.
Sharks will probably beat the Raiders next week. The Raiders will be exhausted.
