NRL ISSUE MITCHELL MOSES A WARNING!
The NRL have issued Eels halfback Mitchell Moses a “warning letter” after last nights game against the Tiger’s, mentioning his behaviour towards the referee.
DiD Gough get a letter? Has anything from Referees boss been clarified from yesterdays game?

Did the ref get a letter for his bad performance?
Good question!
I think you will find at the end they were talking about and Mitch seemd make a quester toward him with his hand like a slight touch on the shoulder like saying ok and the Ref (who i thought had a shocker of a game ) and pulled away from mitch . I thought at the time he might here more about it
Let me start by saying the refereeing was objectively bad, because I think the refs have been given really annoying instructions as to how to control the flow of games this year. There were a heap of ref blunders and everyone has the right to be annoyed at the bad state of refereeing in the game, it probably did decide the outcome for the last few plays.
Having said that - Moses does need to pull his head in. The reason the likes of Cam Smith and DCE get more traction with the refs is because they work with them as equals, not yell at them like children having a tantrum. A ref isn't going to suddenly start working with you if you're getting in their face and yelling and throwing hands up - we have needed a calm leader for the longest times who can do exactly what DCE and Smith always did...take the heat out, have calm conversations, and work away at the ref until they work with you.
Watch how Moses speaks to the refs when he's under pressure (heck watch how he speaks to the players). It's not respectful, it's not calm, and it's not going to get a good response. I think he's an amazing half, but he's a hot head when the clock is running and isn't the player I'd having speaking to refs.
I totally agree Captain, Moses isn't a great leader.
I question a lot of his on field decisions especially yesterday ie the audacious 55m field goal attempt on Full Time, spread the ball or kick in behind for your fastest player would be better or the 45m low percentage field goal attempt in Golden Point that led to a 7 Tackle Set, more chance of getting downfield and setting up for a try.
Moses doesn't have the calm head we need in those close games.
Just more assurance of how deep the NRL rabbit hole of utter corruption goes! If anyone needs a letter of warning it's the referees
In fairness how Mitch carries on is very over the Top and he did touch the Ref so hes lucky to not have a suspension
I would have lost it after the Williams incident. You can guarantee if Williams dives over at that point and plants the ball for a try he would have been told to play the ball.
FFS Gough penalised Russell for a head clash which knocked him out. It doesn't get much more farcical than that.
If Williams dives over to score it would have been a double movement which indicates he was held! Yet the referee said he never said held! So does the referee have to tell for every tackle the player is held? He'd have a very sore throat by the end of a game
This was a fucken joke of a call. Letter of the law is that if Williams second effort dives over will be reviewed by the bunker. All tries are. They will see his ball playing arm touched the floor while a defender had a hand on him. THIS CONSTITUES A TACKLE. YOU WILL HEAR THOSE VERY WORDS COME FROM THE BUNKERS MOUTH. But Peter PinDick states to Moses "You cant challenge a held call" but the bunker can rule on a tackle during a double movement? Games fucked Im sorry, yesterday was the worst Ive seen a ref perform in recent times.
