Joash set for his starting debut

Here's a summary:

## Key Points
1. Parramatta Eels' Joash Papalii is set to make his starting debut in the No.6 jersey against the Titans.
2. The opportunity arises due to suspensions/injuries to key players Dylan Brown and Mitch Moses.
3. Dean Hawkins will start at No.7.
4. Papalii has played 3 games as an interchange player and has experience playing in the halves at NSW Cup level.
5. Teammate Zac Lomax praises Papalii, saying he's "light on his feet" and "trains really well."

Nothing wrong with being a fluffer Wiz, that's a good, honest, hard days work right there.

              • Yeh! I could imagine you two in a bit of BDSM, i don't believe you would be subtle enough to be a fluffer Heisen......I did hear when Wiz was working for GRIZZLY the publication that he did a bit of heavy fluffing for Ron Jeremy! LOL

              • There is a huge risk for workplace injuries Tank,  arthritis of the wrists or being shot in the face being the leading insurance claims for the industry in 2023/24.

            • The club got  JaC & Lomax for unders.I mean sure they didn't land Galvin but we still got to keep going to the well.

Yes we will end up with someone like Campbell which wouldn't be a bad option but as constructed I don't see us winning a premiership in the next 1-3 years by then Moses's primes done so I'm thinking past him hence the Katoa talk however unlikely it is.

  • It's fairly obvious that Mitch Moses hasn't really delivered as well as most were expecting and whether that's due to not having a better team around him is debatable. It's also clearly obvious that this year his performance has grown worse which is particularly a concern for the team moving forwards under Ryles coaching. Hopefully Moses injuries will not make it even worse going into 2026 that's why I personally think it's extremely important the Eels recruitment along with Ryles seriously look at either pushing up some lower grade players into positions that are needed and getting them ready now or in purchasing some reasonably good players elsewhere otherwise the Eels premiership drought is just going to continue

    • CE you really are a "drop kick" its about Moses injuries, whether he is not delivering is subjective to the coach, not you.

Can I suggest that you think about the logistics and the issues confronting the whole process.

I know you are an old man and so am I, I think you are older.....dementia is a terrible thing. I am learning to live with it just the same.....how are you doing?

      • Drop kicks are valuable commodity Poppa as you well know. They make a difference between a win and a loss.. It's clearly obvious Mitch Moses has delivered especially in club games. Perhaps try Specsavers 🤔🤓

        • So how do you fit your following statement into your rhetoric?

"It's clearly obvious Mitch Moses has delivered especially in club games".

This was your comment from the post before; "'It's fairly obvious that Mitch Moses hasn't really delivered as well"

Drop kicks in the context delivered was in reference to someone dropping you on your head and kicking you CE!

          • Typo error there Poppa🤓 it should have read 'hasnt' delivered in club games. Why even camels 🐪 make mistakes

Personally, I would be going with a halves combo of Volkman and Hawkins.
We need the win and now isn't the time for experiments."
