Joash will either take to 5/8 like a fish to water and have a great game or he will get terriorised by titans backrowers and struggle in attack. For our sake I'm hoping he has a great game and puts his stamp on the 6 jersey 🙂

If he plays what he sees and takes the line on he will be sweet. If he tries to play pretty and make no mistakes he will struggle. If they have Hawkins moving the team around and kicking long and letting Joash to play a Kodi Nikorima type of game , fast feet, eyes up and not afriad to take the line on, we might have a ot of joy.
I think he'll have a great game at 5/8. He just needs to the basics right and be creative near the titans try line.
At best I can see him being similar to Milford when he broke onto the scene in Canberra. He's probably better suited to fullback but he could fire at 6
I dont see no lower grades games so i was wondering where does Joash play does he play 5/8 or fullback
And didn't he play fullback for the Panthers in lower grades or 5/8
Played most of his cup games at fullback so it's a big risk from Ryles, but they must see something at training that we don't to go with him at 6
What if he has an OK game where he does some good stuff but stuffs up a few times as well?
Is that a tree way?
If it's a mixed bag I'm guessing he goes back to nsw cup and plays 6 for a while to build his confidence in the role. But let's hope he kills it
If Ryles decides to go with Joash at 5/8, he needs to have Volkman on the bench.
Personally, I would be going with a halves combo of Volkman and Hawkins.
We need the win and now isn't the time for experiments.
Lookl, we bought Joash before knowing Dylan was off. Plus we really pushed for Galvin. All this tells me Ryles would rather someone else.
Now the emergence of Talataina, Volkman gaining fitness and form, and the option of Twidle also means that an internal options seems the best bet. I think Papalii will play on Sunday, but I think Volkman will be 6 and Paps maybe 14 or 17
