Here's a summary:

## Key Points
1. Parramatta Eels' Joash Papalii is set to make his starting debut in the No.6 jersey against the Titans.
2. The opportunity arises due to suspensions/injuries to key players Dylan Brown and Mitch Moses.
3. Dean Hawkins will start at No.7.
4. Papalii has played 3 games as an interchange player and has experience playing in the halves at NSW Cup level.

  • Yeah not convinced he's the answer at 5/8th.

It almost feels like the club can't or won't pay the asking price for some of the options at other clubs and are praying beyond hope that Joash is the missing piece.

I hope so, but IMO he's not that. No kicking game, defensively suspect. Let's see if he can organize, run when needed and offer the side options in attack.

    • Yea I don't think he is the answer. At least coach is trying something different.

    • I'm with you on this Heisen!....that will worry you LOL

      • Analyst, you wrote the article in something like the first person, no qualification where you got the information from.

Then you say you "don't think he is the answer".

You really are looking for a job in the media aren't you! Double Dutch like that and I think you are a moral to end up an editor somewhere.

  • I'm sure we will be playing mistake free footy, clinical finishes to our sets and solid defensively. Lol

  • Is Dean Hawkins hurt to

    • Na both Moses and brown out, so Joash gets 6. Hawkins 7.

      • I need to know Eli, does that mean you accept Analysts story is true or you hope it is true?  You talk like it is a hardline fact.

What do you think rather than prempting someone elses thinking.

        • Telegraph reporting that Joash will start at 6 but obviously it's not locked in yet. Maybe he won't be 6

          • Is there a reason the Telegraph said that or is it the journalist's opinion?

"Lookl, we bought Joash before knowing Dylan was off. Plus we really pushed for Galvin. All this tells me Ryles would rather someone else.
Now the emergence of Talataina, Volkman gaining fitness and form, and the option of Twidle also means that an…"

"If Ryles decides to go with Joash at 5/8, he needs to have Volkman on the bench.
Personally, I would be going with a halves combo of Volkman and Hawkins.
We need the win and now isn't the time for experiments."
