New trend I’ve noticed

Have noticed most of the good nrl sides currently (Definitely not us) are taking advantage of the new blocking rules and just putting up bombs to end every set with good pressure forcing errors. We have no athletes to chase the kicks or pressure so most of Moses kicks are caught comfortably. I've just noticed a lot of teams at the top are basically putting it up high and pressuring. Simple but effective

  • We had one of the best last year and it didnt help us. He had just about the worst errors in the game (lomax). Maybe we just arent lucky with bombs like others.

    • New blocking rules, it's a free path now so teams are getting right to the contest. We just don't have anyone who can do it 🤣

    • Requires size and athleticism that we don't have lol. Small wingers who can't leap

      • The modern winger has a physique similar to Coates, Saab, Tupou, Nawaqanitawase or Warbrick. We have no one like that!

  • Simmossom caught 2 yesterday albeit wasn't able to offload to capitalise. Too bad he's injured now

    • He's solid but yeah gone now. Maybe Iongi to can kind of make a contest of it but we don't really have many guys on the team who can.
