Last week the Eels announced the retention of seven players.
Forwards Pauli Pauli, Peni Terepo and David Gower extended until the end of 2017, with Kaysa Pritchard, Vai Toutai and Joseph Ualesi re-signing for the 2016 season.
Ryan Morgan wants to join that list.
The 25-year-old made his NRL debut in 2011 after climbing his way up the ranks.
Morgan says he has spoken to coach Brad Arthur about his future with the club and is hopeful he can extend his stay.
“I want to stay here,” Morgan said.
“I’m a Parramatta junior and would love to stay as a one club man. I think he’s the same and hopefully we can sort something out.”

Wouldn't mind him on a new deal. If Tupou is correct then Morgan would be one of the best back-ups for that right side as we know he can defend. Hopefully his money represents his place in the 25 rather than where his current money reportedly has him placed.
I'm not sold on his defence Ham, he is good when a players gets on the outside of him (makes massive metres!) then tackles him side on. Yet to see him consistently make good one on one tackles when any foot work or a fend is put on him. Maybe I am watching him play through negative eyes, but he has missed plenty of easy tackles this year that have led to tries.
"One club player" ....."I think he's the same (BA)"
Wow! Ryan is 25 and debuted in 2011. More than enough time IMO to have established himself and cemented a place in any 1st grade team. How many more years does he need to develop and reach his potential? Players are coming through these days at 20 and holding down a permanent spot.
At 25, Ryan has at least 7 years left in his career barring injury, and to remain a one club player.
As long as he will be re-signed on Wenty dollars and no more, that's fine by me.
I would offer him a 7 year, 2nd tier contract so he can fulfil his dream to remain a one club player.
