I am not too concerned about this; call me petty, but I'd rather Lomax be sidelined unless an offer too good to refuse is on the table.

Though i agree Chief about Barnett, i understand why Analyst is saying in that once again we publicly state we want a star player and again miss out.
Could it end up we don't need another middle and our current juniors work out? Definately a chance. But if i was Parra, i would be looking over the fence at Canberra and seeing what the status of Ata Mariota is. He was rumoured to have signed a deal til 2028, with Smithies. Smithies got announced but nothing on Mariota. Also, they are in talks with Papali'i to extend so i would see if they actually do want Lomax after all hahaha.
I think we need to just stop making public statements about going after players. We would have had a price limit here and clearly he priced us out of the market. No big deal really. I would much rather see what our juniors can do alongside our already established pack.
I don't understand Finny, what makes you think he even wanted to come to Parra, even if we offered overs.
I made the point that the only real leverage we had was Westmead Childrens Hospital, as it turns out the Lady Cilento Childrens Hospital in Brisbane is rated higher.
He will be turning 33 when he arrives at the Broncos. They most likely had a player wanting to return to New Zealand also so it works out best for them. Sorry he is good but nothing special at that age. Would be surprised if he even makes the origin team this year if everyone is fit.
I mean we thought a losing battle as Brisbane do have things we currently don't.
1) premiership chances
2) Madge relationship
3) a lot more money
I mentioned my thoughts that i was a little hesitant having Barnett purely on age and coming off ACL. But let's be fair, he wants to win a title, he has been in negotiations the whole time since Haas left for Souths.
"Why does every Troll who pops out from under teh bridge comes straight at you Hector? Do you have food in your pocket or something?...either way, it makes them easy to identify so I shoouldn't complaim too much

"Calling out folks for crude language whilst posting shit emoji's is very fucking troll-like...I mean, bless your cotton socks for trying, but this is only slightly less stoopid than that time you called Hector a BadFan for not eagerly agreeing with…"
"No matter what age we are there's no avoidance of 'reality checks' in life and in all areas of life. Like I said telling truth isn't 💩 but truth. If you see it otherwise then that's on you Dude. No need for crude language Dude or is that another…"

Not a loss at all. 32 coming off an ACL.
I agree with you. We have some great junior talent comimg through along with our established pack. As you said at 32 and coming off an acl no thanks.

With AFB now eligible, Haas, May, Utoikamanu, Koloamatangi, hard to see where Barnett fits for NSW.
