We understand the frustration many are feeling, and the overwhelming, relentless sentiment surrounding the club at the moment.
However, we are not going to tolerate abuse or harassment directed at others simply because they may hold a different opinion. This also extends to individuals within the club itself and players.
We all expect standards from our club and players. We also expect standards on this forum.
For clarity's sake, the majority of posters have not crossed the line.
Moving forward, we will begin shutting down blogs, archiving threads, or removing content where necessary, and expect people to de-escalate in order to avoid further moderation action.

Honestly, I have to avoid this site for a few days after a bad loss these days.
It doesn't help the loss by venting at fellow supporters who are also feeling it. Don't worry, i'm feeling the same, my TV was lucky to stay on the wall and not get thrown off the balcony. But unleashing your fury by a keyboard via this site serves no purpose, neither does fuelling fire for other supporters.
I ride with you on this Clintorian. We know that every member of this club is deeply wounded after repeated thrashings and we urge the team to toughen up, but we fail ourselves to do so.
If we could just lighten up a bit and cease arguing relentlessly among ourselves we could all recover quicker after a loss.
Richard, I think all of us identify with the relentless negativity. For instance, it's highly likely almost every member of 1EyedEel would qualify as a 'highly identified fan'. That is, very strong connections to the team, versus say social or casual connection to the team. In psychology terms, the team is an extension of identity.
But that also means some are going to preserve that identity by the strategy of "lighten up a bit", which accepts some failure in order for optimism to not die (in this context, divorcing identity from results in some way?). But "lighten up" is just as much of a defense strategy as "relentless negativity". Except the latter tends to be associated with a narrowing, protective move regarding identity: walls go up and failure is treated as unacceptably destructive.
There is no one best way but the higher the degree of negativity the more challenging it becomes to sustain community
lighten up a bit
I am comfortable being that Scapegoat Daz, after all we need a few more in community.
They all come home eventually though! wagging their tails behind them.
Here here Richard 👏
This is very true but on the flipside like you first mentioned that's not upto the fans it's upto the team.So when is the team going to man up and fix an obvious issue that's been there from the jump.
As for the negativity again that's on the club coaches and team to change the narrative isn't it.
Your asking fans some very long term ones to have some sought of optimism for a team that's going into and is routed in a 40 year vortex and who seemingly have zero idea how to get out of it.
I also think fans are ready to try and be positive but again give the fans a reason.
The balls not in the fans court it's in the clubs and if they continue down the same track I fear the fans will do the same.
Clintorian, I am with you on this. The week before we beat the Cowboys, all is well, and the rainbow is out. A week later, it is just doom and gloom. We are frustrated- the coaching staff is also going by their comments. They can see what is happening at training and cannot understand why it is not translated onto the field.
Maybe I am being an optimist and wear blue and gold lasses, but I see some good in what is going on. Don't agree with the Pezet decision, but a lot of the other happenings are showing progress. I can understand the frustrations that many others are showing, but as my father says, " Born an Eel, Die an Eel". Nothing will change that.
100% Eelovution
My thoughts exactly Clintorian
