Moderation Note: Forum Standards

We understand the frustration many are feeling, and the overwhelming, relentless sentiment surrounding the club at the moment.

However, we are not going to tolerate abuse or harassment directed at others simply because they may hold a different opinion. This also extends to individuals within the club itself and players.

We all expect standards from our club and players. We also expect standards on this forum.

For clarity's sake, the majority of posters have not crossed the line.

Moving forward, we will begin shutting down blogs, archiving threads, or removing content where necessary, and expect people to de-escalate in order to avoid further moderation action.

      • Thanks Hector.

I find I just get wound up even more, and then it's easy to get into fights with others. We just need to be more 'self-aware' of our current mood and not engage in arguments that serve no purpose.

    • Wait, Clintorian, you're suggesting the monotonous sack-a-thon, mostly directed at "management", is, ya know, monotonous? laughing

      • Happy to focus our sack-a-thon energy towards O'Niell for now 😅

We all know where our team is at and the injury crisis we're in. We just have to kind of be a bit pragmatic about it and not so 'reactionary'.

But in saying that... I was every bit as livid as you all were on Saturday night.

        • Actually, Clintorian, I had friends over for backyard drinks and open fire pit. Did not watch the game and unsure if I will watch replay. Saw about 3 x 1 minute check-ins and each time Eels dropped the ball in attacking positions, so I knew it was "one of those games".
Sometimes the Eels will shock us - comeback wins over Broncos and Cowboys - but it would be awesome to go into a game saying "got this, gonna kill these flogs". Not sure I can even recall those days any more.

  • I apologize if any of my comments or blogs have been disrespectful of others.

    • Easy solution, don't write disrespectful comments or blogs, then you won't have to apologise.

      • I assume that your comment is inclusive of everyone 😉. Not just 'yours truly' The unfortunate thing is Michael that everyone interprets blogs and comments differently. Some are more sensitive than others. An innocent comment or even blog can easily be misinterpreted. At the end of the day that's why 'moderators' are here to adjudicate fairly. Note that I did say 'IF' as I don't believe I have intentionally but I like to say sorry IF I have

        • I don't believe I have intentionally...funny guy. Do you write your own stuffl?

          • Do you always follow other people's comments around 😉

"Wasn't Leniu just in an interview the other day saying he is staying at Chooks, and departure stories are unfounded?
Always possible it's a "Phil Gould" BS lie but he still said not going anywhere"
