I actually think this is the scenario, Pezet wants long term deal withParra, we are playing hard ball re length or price or something. Braith is now saying yeah sweet if you want to do that this is what we will do in response. Now the media is playing their role and the fan base has completely flipped on its head piling pressure back on our administration and leaders.
I expect us to pull out completely now, it'd be better than getting bullied into over paying!
Nah Brisbane is a way better fit for him and he will get all the TP contracts up there. Id be happier if he just went to Brisbane. Intead he has smelt our desperation and bent us over. It's the meticulous planning that I love the most about the Eels. We want to keep Blaze after developing him but tell him that his path is blocked so he leaves. Only to find out the guy blocking his path only really had 12 months left on his convoluted contract so he also leaves. Then we publicly throw the chequebook at Galvin and he turns us down. All of this was part of the master plan to get Pezet who will then leave in a year culminating in the arrival of our No 1 target all along, Lorenzo Talataina.
