It's the meticulous planning that I love the most about the Eels. We want to keep Blaze after developing him but tell him that his path is blocked so he leaves. Only to find out the guy blocking his path only really had 12 months left on his convoluted contract so he also leaves. Then we publicly throw the chequebook at Galvin and he turns us down. All of this was part of the master plan to get Pezet who will then leave in a year culminating in the arrival of our No 1 target all along, Lorenzo Talataina.
