""Chance is mist" is a really appropriate typo/autocorrect. The chance just goes pfft, evaporates into nothing. Not sure Dylan B has got the mix right this year, more often passing when he should run or running when he should pass. "
"I wouldn't be surprised to see a last minute change like this. Williams has been a handful running wider.

A League Marque player
NRL ?
By providing umpteen cap exemptions for marquee players, local juniors, sons of fathers or 10 year veterans simply waters down the cap's role and places us in a dangerous position whereby clubs could conceivable bankrupt themselves.
With respect to the AFL, despite their $280m TV rights deal, clubs don't see a cent of it (except for Brisbane and Sydney who do receive some assistance). In order to stay afloat, clubs must sell x amount of memberships per year - and it actively encourages clubs to be masters of their own destiny. Of course, the fanaticism of the Mexicans and their inclination to 'get out to the game' does assist with respect to crowds and thus gate takings.
I am of the belief that should the cap double or even triple in value on the back of a more lucrative TV rights deal in 2013, there'll be less incentive for our game's elite players to move to Japanese or European Rugby, or AFL for that matter. If you were to ask the players whether they'd prefer to stay in the NRL or uproot themselves overseas to chase the coin, I guarantee they'd confirm their desire to stay in League.
Perhaps losening of 3rd party sponsorhip deals will help but this will greatly help 1 city clubs like the Bronocos and Mel more so than Sydney clubs.
At the end of the day, there are too many clubs in Sydney and the reality is there is no solution to reducing the number.
