A lot of questions have been asked after yesterday!!
But this is the biggest question we have been asked
HAS MITCHELL MOSES LOST THE PLAYING GROUP?
I heard quite a bit in the off season about some players not happy with his approach.
I had also been told that it was a key reason in why we can’t attract players to our club…
One other thing I have been told about is how players were not happy with some of the players brought into the team and how Mitch has taken to them.
Now I don’t like to post stuff like this and I have avoided it for a while. But after yesterday’s game a lot of fans have noticed players not seeming to respect him on the field ignoring when he wanted the ball and not reacting to his blow ups.
I will also stat that I have not spoken to any of the playing group about this. But if fans are noticing there may be something to it.
To me Mitch doesn’t look happy at the moment..
Is it due to his injuries?
Is it because of this?
Or is Mitch just realising that as he gets older his chances of winning comp at the Eels are looking less and less likely..
There could be a lot of things going on. We spoke about it on Tuesdays podcast and all it go was the podcast an my personal profile blocked by Moses… not that I give a fuck about that
I love what Mitch has done for the club and he is a great player at his best. But I think it’s obvious to all something is affecting Mitch this year

Mitchell Pearce split the playing group.
But 1 thing was for certain, every team they played in was better for it. Fierce competitors can be like that. Elite players want to drag others up to their standards, they drive improvement. Those that can't make the grade usually spit the dummy. I know who I want in the team. Actually to be honest, on the weekend the only 3 players i'd keep in a first grade NrL side attempting to play finals footy would be Moses, Ado Carr and Jack Williams. Junior Paulo and Rylie Smith would be relegated to bench players or backups, the rest can go play for the Rhinos out at Rouse Hill.

I noticed when tuilagi missed a tackle that lead to a try mitch looked at him threw his arms up and said what was that? Tuilagi def said sonething back to him i reckon he said what about your missed tackle that led to a try. Mitch is not a captains arsehole
Are you sure it was Tuilagi? Tuilagi did not miss any tackles that led to tries. Closest possibilities were Moses' missed tackle (Kini), where Tuilagi was inside Moses but it was not Tuilagi's fault Moses fell off the tackle, and the try where the Titans hooker ran right between Walker and Guymer (?) and Tuilagi was on the outside but again not his tackle to make. On that last one Moses does turn around but I thought he was throwing his hands up at the middle ruck defenders who let the hooker run right between them?

Gutho was a bit of the glue between Moses and the rest of the squad. Gutho would do the same, having a go at players for doing things, but he was a much better leader of the group. Moses can get too emotional, since it is him and bunch of inexperience in the spine and backs, frustration would hit. Leaders in the forwards, Paulo and perhaps Walker, seem to lead by example.
A Dale Finucane/McInnes type would be great for this group in terms of leadership.
