Lorenzo kills it again in flegg

Not sure who watches lower grades or not but Lorenzo was dominant today again in flegg.

seriously impressive for a SG ball player to be this influential in Flegg.

He needs to be fast tracked to Cup sometime this year but he has more than answered any questions of him at this level.

The fight for the 6 jersey in the preseason will be massive

        • Copy that Coryn his potential is massive.

          • Here we go again.

    • relax, he's been in flegg for 2 weeks.

        • I do agree that Flegg is that sort of awkward league for players. HM and SG Ball are important as they are age related, Flegg is a nice stepping stone to Cup but if they are good enough players spend some time in Flegg then move into Cup anyway. Cup is the peak of development getting them ready for NRL.

    • Hopeless club? FMD.

After years of BA protecting his sons position, they finally have some quality first grade backup halves in NSW Cup. There is no need to rush Lorenzo.

  • I have said a number of times. He is so talented that he will play NRL not if. He has great feet, plays eyes up footy better than most kids I have watched his age , he counts numbers and attacks short sides so well. He is not big, but he is tough. He puts his body in front and has a very good technique. I think they will hold the trigger and massage him through this year and then full NRL pre season and development contract.  Just needs to get the body conditioned to the bigger boys.  He was best player in SG ball this year and I believe it was one of the strongest competitions with some classy kids out there.

    • I agree completely. His athleticism is usually his best weapon but his ball playing within the system was impressive today. He had big Laiafi running at him last week and handled him well which is no mean feat

      • Yep those who watch him already know about his footwork, quickness and strength when running the ball. But today I was so impressive with his tempo when playing first receiver on on shape. The dummy's and change of pace to attract defenders was incredible.

        • Love the Katoa comparison. That's what got me excited too.

    • Didn't have my glasses on but the clip seems he looks and plays like Chris Sandow is that close?
