We will finish 16th and the board would keep BA and say "Could have been worse, could've finished 17th" and also say "Moses being out cost us 7 wins, we play semis if he played that's nobody's fault.
I keep saying this Mutts BA is but a symptom of a bigger problem.
Its like no one wants to see it.
If the board really wanted to it's a phone call or a meeting away and that's all she wrote for the coach. Not many want to see it.
The biggest concern I have is even if they do relieve BA of his duties tomorrow just say we are still left with the hangover of the guys that made this decision as it looks in no way have they solved the same issues we have as a club.
That's my issue too. If they did pull the plug on BA there is no one on the Board with the expertise to know what to do next. I can see them taking resumes, appointing a HR expert and running a series of interviews. The candidate with the best PowerPoint presentation wins.
Gus mentioned that BA was setup to fail and then went on to say that we haven't been a development club for 2 decades.I hear that and shudder that is a direct cancer from the top of the tree and like you mentioned in another thread they need a director of football with a vision of how to oversee and engage this into being the new norm.
You mentioned Matt Cameron. We got accountants who know how to make money write cheques. We got well rounded HR professionals who know what the best person for a job is I'd suggest they use that experience to go hire a guy like the guy you mentioned.
None of them would even know he exists. That's the biggest issue. A Board with football expertise would know names like Cameron, Ponissi etc. They'd have them on a shortlist already. Our lot would probably hire a HR company to do some market research to find out what they should already know. That's the classic corporate approach
Which is why the league's club board should be stepping in , but they are just as useless as they have sat back while the footy board had made horrendous decisions .
"Way I see it is this.
You tell BA this is his last season and then you search for his successor. It a process and will take some time so the longer we leave it the less time we have to filter through the applications.
We shouldn't be worried in the…"
"How Greig has been in our systems for 4 seasons is beyond belief and another black mark on ba. Anyone can see that he's very compromised in the agility department and has zero stanima.
# Brad out asap"

Yep
Muttman have you heard any rumblings from some board members?
Zero rumblings. I'm concerned that they have absolutely no plans to make changes. In fact, I'm terrified that's what is happening.

Don't forget to survey the closest university to gather the students opinion on who it should be .
