I think we either bring in an established 6, or we test our juniors to see which of them will be best placed in NRL. I have confidence that Ryles has a good plan here. He does have a bit of a war chest, but note that a lot of current players are on basic wage so will likely need to be upgraded over the coming years if they continue their development into regular NRL players.
If we made a play for Sandon Smith for a two year contract, what would it cost us?  Does anyone know what he is curently on at The Rooters?  Our young bloke in Jersy Flegg will hopefully be on the bench and get some cup games later this year and a full year in cup with a taste of NRL in 2027 we could be set.  We have the War chest, a couple of middles and outside backs is what is needed if we can secure Smith on resonable coin
I've lived in QLD for 15 years. Went to see my son last year in Parra and it was like I was in the Middle East. Westfield Parramatta, sheesh. Not to mention its friggin freezing down there. I just can't ever see a situation where I'd want to live in Sydney again, it's that awful. Couldn't wait to get out of the joint, and I lived there for 23 years. Just can't see us getting anyone from QLD to Sydney, especially Parramatta.
Still have shorts and T-shirt on up here in Noosa. Bloody wonderful.

I am not sure Moses has much of a running game left with his feet and leg injuries. Hawkins is a playmaker and you don't need two. Hawkins is solid but not who you want. Speed is becoming everything now.

I would never say no to Staggs in general. Talent is talent.

I think it will be a junior filling the role we don't have much luck in securing big name players and having much success Â

You aren't wrong 😂
Moses to 6, more halfback options: Isoiya Katoa, Metcalf, even bulldogs junior Mitchell Woods
metcalf would be an amazing 6 but getting him out of NZ won't be easy
