He can easily shift to centres again once the young guys are ready for that void. But staggs as a running 6 for a year or two wouldn't be the worst thing.Â
The next no.6 should not be a running 5/8. It hasn't worked with DB. What would compliment Mosses and our outside backs is a 5/8 with a great short kicking game. This is the missing piece of the puzzle.Â
Having said that, I think Ryles need to find at least one good centre. Hearing Grant Anderson may be going to the Broncos. I don't know what that will mean for Staggs, Cobbo, Jesse Arthurs, Shibasaki, Hoeter or Deine Mariner. Any one of these outside backs would be a great pick up for us, and better than what we currently have. Surely Broncos can't hold onto all of them.Â
I wonder if manly looks at moving on brooks ? At the right price he would be another solid player at 6. Hearing they might want to try Turbo at 6 but who knows reallyÂ
Not a huge fan of Brooks. Don't think he has that short kicking game we desperately need to partner Mosses. Turbo would be better suited to centre other there IMO.
Sandon Smith would be the best of what is available atm. Hopefully we can land him.Â
"Wiz is an intelligent poster Popa and knows his footy, agree about Mal definitely the wrong choice- Holbrook seemed the logical choice and HOE has mentioned McDermott as gun coach in waiting. Perth franchise have thier coaching terribly wrong…"
"Well if old man Gutherson can land almost a million at Saints , Cobbo ain't silly asking for it. But he ain't getting that kinda Fullback money at Parramatta .Â
Hopefully Flufferson handed back this weeks salary looking at the score . Must've been…"
"Either of those would be ok for right price though Cobbo wanting a million is ridiculous He's not that good and his issues with coaches is not great almost childish Still either of them would be better than Gagai"

no idea is a bad one , that being said, i dont know that we are that desperate , to source a left field 5/8, on top dollar, from interstate.
if Parra were looking to manufacture a 5/8, they will do internally, with someone looking to get a start in the NRL.

the games only getting faster, given what we have seen to date, Joash would be getting a look well before Staggs at 6.
Â
Only thing that worries me with Joash is the defensive work and size, but once he gets a bit stronger he'll be thereÂ

Completely agree about a short kicking half.Â
What has stages done in the last 3 years?, highly overrated.
He might need a change of scenery and freshen up. It would be interesting to seeÂ
