He can easily shift to centres again once the young guys are ready for that void. But staggs as a running 6 for a year or two wouldn't be the worst thing.
The next no.6 should not be a running 5/8. It hasn't worked with DB. What would compliment Mosses and our outside backs is a 5/8 with a great short kicking game. This is the missing piece of the puzzle.
Having said that, I think Ryles need to find at least one good centre. Hearing Grant Anderson may be going to the Broncos. I don't know what that will mean for Staggs, Cobbo, Jesse Arthurs, Shibasaki, Hoeter or Deine Mariner. Any one of these outside backs would be a great pick up for us, and better than what we currently have. Surely Broncos can't hold onto all of them.
I wonder if manly looks at moving on brooks ? At the right price he would be another solid player at 6. Hearing they might want to try Turbo at 6 but who knows really
Not a huge fan of Brooks. Don't think he has that short kicking game we desperately need to partner Mosses. Turbo would be better suited to centre other there IMO.
Sandon Smith would be the best of what is available atm. Hopefully we can land him.
"It was sooo shocking
and just NEVER improved EVER
Watching them now I'm so perplexed it never got any better and was never improved 🤷♀️🤷♀️just gob smacking it was "
"Ea, i haven't watched a lower grade game this year and TCT gives me bile, so i don't visit. My knowledge of our lower grade players is directly attributable to you good chap. Kudos"
Both these guys need to be heading to the exit doors as soon as they can to maximise their money making ability. They have been struggling to make the 17 for years now and it doesn't look like any of the spine is going anywhere. Not sure why storm…
"Why would we not upgrade Riley right now. The way we are playing him mocks the idea of being on a dev deal.
He is our frontline hooker and I am likng his vibe....we should show some respect and upgrade him yesterday"

no idea is a bad one , that being said, i dont know that we are that desperate , to source a left field 5/8, on top dollar, from interstate.
if Parra were looking to manufacture a 5/8, they will do internally, with someone looking to get a start in the NRL.

the games only getting faster, given what we have seen to date, Joash would be getting a look well before Staggs at 6.
Only thing that worries me with Joash is the defensive work and size, but once he gets a bit stronger he'll be there

Completely agree about a short kicking half.
What has stages done in the last 3 years?, highly overrated.
He might need a change of scenery and freshen up. It would be interesting to see
