Eels forward to remain in Parramatta despite Knights links - NRL News - Zero Tackle

Was surprised when I saw this story. Had anyone heard anything about this?

I think he has been progressing really well and was hoping he would be sticking around.

  Yeah i admit that is a bit silly. Next to Walker and TDS, he is the next automatic bench player.

He was just starting to hit his straps last year before he got injured. He's definitely one to keep, and with another season he could be one of our best middles.

"That is exactly it, Paulo is too valuable for the culture to not have him. Him coming off the bench giving us 30-40 decent mins is worth it. The likes of JBD and Hopgood can get throught 60-65 mins on their own so Paulo doesn't need to play big…"
