  • He's signed til 2027, unless they want to give him starting time. I mean with us looking at keeping Paulo and trying to get a middle, Moretti ain't starting anytime soon.

    • Why can't he start ? definitely others that can come off the bench, maybe Paulo ... if we want to keep him we have to play him, I think JDB will be playing off the bench

      • Well maybe, though can see Paulo, Hopgood and JBD being the middles, if Paulo to the bench you could see Walker start at 13.

JBD will definately start i believe. He is a tone setter. He is not an impact player. He is that forward leader when Paulo is on the bench.

  • Someone wrote a blog here about this a while ago but I thought it was bs but it's not I guess.Thank God his staying tho

    • If Luca can stay injury free he'll be a block buster. Ryles I'm sure can see it. Thankfully some on here aren't deciding our team selection.

  • I've heard that Paulo will be coming off the bench to prolong his career. The 1st 20 mins takes a lot out of him with bigger collisions.  Apparently he will get an extension soon. He is seen as an important role model and keeping him at the club helps with what Ryles is trying to achieve through good culture

    • That is exactly it, Paulo is too valuable for the culture to not have him. Him coming off the bench giving us 30-40 decent mins is worth it. The likes of JBD and Hopgood can get throught 60-65 mins on their own so Paulo doesn't need to play big minutes anymore. With Moretti, Tuivaiti, Guymer coming through and perhaps another middle that Ryles wants, Paulo will not be needed to play big minutes.

  • I rate the kid hopefully stays long term

  • thought he used to room with Brown? maybe DB wants his mate...

he'll get more development under ryles

  • Definitely a keeper.  I can't believe some haven't got him in their top 17.   Coming inti his prime years aswell
