"Kautoga has improved well in the last few weeks and I think this is a good re-signing.
A good damaging Prop, 5/8 and a strike centre and the Eels are looking like contenders."

He runs when he should be pass, he has missed 45 tackles at an effiency of 84% and has made 15 errors across 11 games. His game will progress however he won't reach any great heights I believe."

He was diabolical at times early in the season but has improved quite dramatically as the season has progressed. Good signing.Â
He's fast becoming a real threat on the left edge. This is great he's extended. It would be great if we could stick with Kautoga left and Williams right edge permanently.Â
Surely thats how it is next year if JDB joins us.
The 5/8 spot obviously still up for grabs.
Then have to see if how the dummy half search goes.Whether Smith starts or stays on the bench.
5/8 will be Joash but will need to use the money extending and locking down a lot of these guys. Then leave some free for big names who become available. Ryles is definitely building the nucleus of a team and is under no pressure of losing his job like other coaches in the nrl right now.Â
If joash is the future 6 he should be there this week and every week for the rest of the season, we will get as much out of Brown at centre as we are at 5/8 with what he has produced this year.
Spot on, can't help but think Ryles isn't sold on Joash at 6.
💯Â
No point trying to do the Knights a favour. Start giving Jo-Ash more game time and see how he handles it. That will give an indication on whether we need to go out hard to find a 5/8 next year or beyond.Â
Without Moses that becomes a hard argument really. Joash and Hawkins did a great job last week, but ideally you want some experience in the halves.
Not necessarily I'd say he needs a full offseason training in that position. If we throw him in there now for the rest of the season may kill his confidence. His chance will come but it's good he's getting little tastes of first grade in his first year. He will learn a lot in the offseason with time to learn the ins and outs of that spotÂ
No-one on that bench that can play edge, either the 2nd hooker or moretti need to make way for an edge forward that can also play middle.Â
