Just heard on triple M whisper that Eels and Dragons are monitoring the Luke Metcalf situation at the warriors, as their keen to re sign Cht and Tanah Boyd. Would you take him? It does show that at the moment if their is an elite half on the market the Eels might try and get him if they stop screwing around.

        • Mentioned this scenario when DB left, and others felt no due to Sam Walker - but like you I feel this is becomming increasingly possible, and just opinion, don't feel Walker is a genuine 7.

          • 100% mate. Watch this space.

      • pretty sure he cant play until round 11 but yes the club needs to find out if he is up to it

  • Maybe it's for Moses? He isn't getting younger, doesn't need the money, is playing with a team of reserve graders and getting bashed each week. Can't be much fun for him and there is no premiership window before his contract ends.

  • Schuster is in similar situation as eels ,that's not good.can talk about props soon

  • From Facebook but is a common theme amongst players now demanding to play a certain position.  He isn't leaving warriors for us to play 6.

    • There is another way of handling this....Metcalfe comes as a 5/8....he is told this and also that he is the 7 in Moses absence. It is becoming more than obvious that MM is carrying injuries on a continual basis, Taitana is told he is first choice 5/8 in the absence of either Moses or Metcalfe being out. ........people are right we need to see Taintana in FG now, to make such a judgement.

Schuster on the other part is essentially a ball player and his build was instrumental in his evaluation of being elite. I always thought he had enormous value but gee we would have to be very careful when weighing up his baggage with the weight that he has lost......

    • Metcalf to dogs to play 7, Galvin to eels to play 6, works for me.

      • God no. Galvin made his bed. No more recruits from Dogs, we have enough reserve graders from them

Metcalf to 7, move Moses to 6. He has forgotten how to run this year

  • hes on near a mill per year is he worth that on the cap ?
