  • If this means we are landing a Bradman best then Samrani is no longer needed. Best of luck to him tho

  • Parramatta gave him his start. Lets be honest is samrani starting at any other nrl club atm? No. Maybe perth bears. Good luck to him let him chase the money why not. The big clubs won't be offering him big money. I can't see alot of interest with him atm he's only 28 games in and still raw.

    • Came here to say this. It's a bit of a laff him even making a statement about testing the market. Just do it bud, nobody will even notice you are yet to commit.  I don't mind him, but niggah phuleease , there's maybe 2 clubs maybe 3 that will be remotley intrested , and two of them done even have a squad of players yet.

I totally love what Easts have just done to Sam Walker . Pulled his over and released a statement about them only wanting players fully committed to them. Fucking spectacular stuff.  Exactly what I've been calling for us to do for years with flogs we have that like to play Dutch auctions.  What a flex, blokes the hottest property on the market and they simply tell him to get stuffed.

      • Maybe let's see who they now sign. Therein lies the answer.

          • Cleary is odds on to join the chooks you would think .  The roosters did the exact same thing with Latrell Mitchell, once you upset or show greed Nick will tell you to fuck off .

  • It's a shame if we lose him, but you don't win comps if you chase these types of players.

  • Every game herbie is a cutting teams I don't see that with Best

  • He's solid. The type of player you're happy to have in your top 19, but you're not winning big games with Samrani as your starting centre.

  • Cool if he stays, cool if he goes. He's not the kind of player you lose sleep over, he will likely play for multiple clubs before his career is over...a very typical journeyman player - versatile and thus good enough to be in the Top 30 squads, but not "shoot the lights out" good enough to be first pick in any spot.

I'd ilke to keep him, but we definitely shouldn't get into a bidding war. If he can get better than fair market value elsewhere, then c'est la vie.
