          • Yer, i take your points there, and dont disagree. Interesting times, I feel like we will at least talk to him, who knows how high eels will be prepared to go. Bostock would be a great fall back position.

            • No harm in asking and seeing what his goals are. What would he consider. Have a starting offer and get him keen and keep negotiating. Does Captaincy interest him enough? Does playing a spine position?

Worst they can say is no.

Bostock i would actually try for. Still unrealistic but reasonable. Still would have to overpay massively, like if you offered $800-900k, again massive over pay, but i think he would at least consider.

  • I don't think Jenkins is a big miss for us, depending of course on other, better options. He's a good player, but I really feel we need a big strong winger, especially we with Ado Carr on the other wing. I just hope Parra is on the ball here and they know exactly the type of player they want.

    • Jenkins is good. I agree not as good as many say, but he is good. Issue is there is not really anything else on the market. Unless you go for Taulagi.

They know what they want, as Ryles would tell them type. But it is getting to a point with who they are missing where it went from "We need an athletic Winger, strong, fit and fast." To now it could be "Winger, fit and fast". Still good but can get better but who right now is better?

      • Isn't Taulagi going to the roosters?.

        • Not official, but nearly done.

          • Didn't know that, he wont be cheap either.

            • Well he would be going rate for top notch Wingers. Around the $500-650k range. Maybe pushing $700k since he has played Origin and is named in Game II squad.

    • To'o most likely going to market Nov 1st. Hopefully he is the target.

      • Bloke will have no legs come 2028. He's being ran into the ground with his play style. I actually would be fine not going for him.

"He regards wilson as the reserve grader, which he is, and Jenkins as looking good at the panthers, both true. It's the fact we can't even sign players he considers as not worth worrying about is the reason we are worried. "
