"Reported that the Knights have had a change of heart around the future of Jayden Brailey. The club is now hesitating and reluctant to release him from his current deal."

Not gonna lie, I was never too keen on him. Sure he's better than what we have but he's also very injury prone and not very quick at all, in terms of speed Hands has him beat.
Not fussed we didn't get him, but at the same time getting him wouldn't have been the worst.
At this point I'd sign another 9 like Garlick for a year and try to go hard for either Blake Mozer or Reece Robson. Would love Mozer now but it won't happen.
I think this is going to turn out to be a blessing in disguise.
Brandon Smith is the one. He had a lot of respect for Ryles in a recent podcast chat.
Can play Hooker and Lock. Will transition out of 9 if and when Hands or a younger more capable player breaks through. That might be Coinakis, this new signing Hudson.
Only other player who may be readily available is Dylan Walker who, in my opinion, seems to have matured a lot. Playing off the bench for Webster in NZ on a moderate - high pay packet, whos kids just moved back to Sydney. I think he is ripe for the picking.
"I did modern day as 1998 onwards as I didn't see them play, as some here haven't. Where I believe majority of people here have seen all the modern day players play.
Plus it frees up some spots like we all know who 5/8 will be but now no idea."
"Old vs New. Pre 1998 Eels best team wearing the original Gold Jerseys vs post 1998 Eels best team wearing today's Blue jersey. The best from both eras playing against each other in a virtual stadium online. Jack Gibson coaching Gold, Brian Smith…"
"He played 134 of his 264 games as a winger. Didnt complain once like a Lomax when required on the wing. Was a team man through and through. He deserves to be in the Modern Day Best Eels team somewhere. Perhaps now that we have 6 interchange players…"
" I understand the modern day theory. It has to be the players that would work in the modern day game, But the theory should include how a player from the say 80s would perform given the modern day technology and training regime.
You cant simply…"

Nicely said. I was open to Brailey but got colder as time went. But could have done worse.
As for Garlick, if you are using him as stop gap, just use Hands I would reckon.
Say Cheese.
And what get him back in Round 20?
He'll be raring to go by then
I'd go after the cheese
Soni Luke
Soni Luke could be a good bargain buy. Played well for Tonga but out of favour at the Panthers.
This ^^^ He's an absolute weapon and needs time to refine his game
