It's not an either or recruitment. Our NSW Cup side's backline was terrible last year and we lacked any depth once we had a couple of injuries in first grade. Schiller is an NRL-experienced outside back who can provide some good depth. It doesn't mean JAC is gone. It would be of concern if Schiller was recruited with JAC out the door as it means we haven't built any further depth.
Good signing... Just wondering if he's good mates with Best... From memory he plays on the right side so possibly nothing to do with replacing JAC just a solid depth signing.
God I hope we land Best and they can wrangle a deal for him to start next season. You'd think that after the GF and performances in the WC, the Knights have quite a few players they're gonna need to upgrade. An early transfer could well be a possibility.
"He had surgury and fully recoverd from that back injury. The year he's just had off rehabing and building strength will have been reallly good for him.I thnk (hope) he's gonna have a big year in 2027."

I like Schiller. I think he'll push for a top grade spot which is what Parramatta need
Agree decent player who needs an opportunity I think he will be good
It's a very simple case, we need speed in this backline. I reckon he plays more first grade than NSW cup.
With no junior outside backs ready to go atm this is a very good "next man up" signing imo.

Everyone on this site was having a whinge when we signed Brian Kelly this time last year.
People have forgot his last season at Canberra where he was sensational for a period.
So he has some potential.
Good signing.
