Ever since i saw the Ch. 9 news reel with Jai playing with his daughter and then struggling to speak/ slurring his words...I'd layed my anger at everything about our failing club (results- recruitment) aside. Fuck it...what does it even mean? Simply childsplay and we get angry and frustrated when grown men don't do well enough running and kicking a ball. It means nothing at the end of the day.

Gut wrenching stuff. I've seen what Rob Burrow went through and I feel terrible for Jai and his young family.

May God (If there is one) help him and his family.

Souths is a great club and they will support Jai and his family all the way. Wayne Bennett's words were very touching.

Thought and prayers with Jai and his family.

Hang in there, champ.

  • Yep - extremely sad and puts everything into perspective as it should. Scott Gale former Tigers player was one of the first from memory with this crippling disease. I am seeing my close cousin with it now and he has had it for several years and he cannot even sms to me anymore; cruel and debilatating. And of course Carl Webb...

  • Tragic.

He would have had a great career in the media too, he was your typical footy meathead, but was weirdly articulate and pretty funny in front of the camera.

"Honestly not fussed if true. Will doesn't have the speed to be a massive sucess at centre an his defence hasn't been the best. Will has tackle just ability and can make some meters every now and then. "

"True, but having a genuine chance at competing for a premiership in your last 2 seasons in NRL would very likely appeal to Moses. He has achieved everything else, he is set up for life & then some, I have no doubt a Premiership means a lot to him.…"
