For non indigenous Australains it is disappointing to see no national anthem for matches involving indiginous Australians. It may probably be the same for State of ORIGIN and Test Matches.
The indiginous players claim this does not represent them. However it does for non indiginous fans. This alone can cause divisiveness for indiginous and non indiginous fans.
Why is it at certain matches we have aboriginal elders give us welcome to our land and also have welcoming ceremonies. If non indiginous fans disrepected this like the indigenous people do for our national anthem, the I am once again say this causes divisiveness.
Lets be ALL AUSTRALIAN and either cut out both ceremonoies or let them play out and have respect from both sieds.

I'll still be watching the game, beers and seafood, nibble on a packet of bbq samboy chips, I'll let you know who wins poopy
With you there Pops, the game should be inclusive not divisive.
I'm still not sure what it is in the anthem that is being objected to, and im happy to be educated on it.
Agreed - what the hell are we doing to this country !
News flash Mick...
The anthem does not unite everyone, that’s why they don’t want to sing it...
Making people do something they don’t want to do isn’t exactly acting in ways that unite is it?
So does that mean non Aboriginals shouldn't be forced to sit through all the "welcome to our land " ceremonies at gsmes as.it means nothing to them?
It’s their land, they can have whatever ceremony they like.
If you don’t like or don’t want to be there, you have every right to get up and walk away Frankie.
So because it's their land they don't have to respect what means a lot to non Aboriginals but non Aboriginals have to respect what means a lot to aboriginals ?
Sorry its not their land Clint - yes the govt has allowed laws such as national title but i Ian my house or close to it. And while i am on it this supposed invasion day is another one; so the brits invaded and brought along thieves etc....?
I am tied of being made to feel sorry for events that occurred many many yrs ago. I thought Rudd's apology was meant to end this but it seems to have encouraged more and more virtue signalling and bureaucracy.
Another view tad and I respect that mate.
That happened all over Europe in the 20th Century. A lot of Australians have ancestors that left Europe for exactly that reason. Where is their homeland? Should they go back and ask for their property back now?
