A bit of tounge in cheek Tad. He Definitely knows what to do, for sure, however He must do it all the time no matter what pressure is on or around him. Tonight he was trying to catch it in the hands only so many times, to ball play. Â It's a fatal mistake, and it's letting him down.
I think that is something to address with him BE. How do you put him in the right headspace to eliminate those errors. Something that HOE is on about the Kaizen way. Finding what and how to lift him into a better headspace to have better control in those situations. It can be done if he knows howÂ
If error assists or error involvements were a stat Hopgood would be top of the list. On top of his own errors his pushed passes, and poor options in attack lead to plenty of errors by others. He has to simplify his game and just run hard and offload opportunities will come if he breaks a tackle
"His post contact metres are about -10 😂.  Intimidation levels are equal to a flamingo eating a stick of fairyfloss from Elton John's bum.  He needs a long spell playing off the bench or to be dropped to reignite the fire to earn his spot back.  "
"Haha gold Mace Ryley will only get better hooker is a demanding position so for a rookie i cant fault him - definitely a keeper, its a shame posters like to access thier reptilian part of the brain when posting"

I would be asking Penref if they want Flopgood back.
See if they would be interested in a swap deal.
