Hard to feel sorry for the bloke when he goes on national tv a few weeks ago denies any interest in a player then signs him a few short weeks later. Media and fans are absolutely crushing his credibility and it's just a bad look for the game when a player takes 500k less to join the club that Gus is the head of. Pressure will firmly be on the bulldogs this season as anything less then a title will lead to a backlash

Can of worms isn't it LB calling out Gus but in our own back yard our own head coach did pretty much a similar thing.
Spot on LB. We'd be hailing Gus as a genius and jumping to his defence just as all the Bulldogs fans are now.
Gus is just too clever , rather than hammer Gus for doing his job which to make his club success and give it every advantage possible look at our own club and point the finger at the people who run it.

Correct Fong, exactly what I said last week. You have to give Gus credit , he will do , say , lie , cheat , whatever it takes to win and succeed.
People need to ask , why are we voting in people that are not ensuring we are doing the same ? We have not signed a player in demand as long as I can remember . Whether it be coaches or players , we are the club that's one level above the dole queue.
As soon as Gus came on the scene all of us who think with our heads just knew we'd miss the kid no matter how many insiders and know alls said he was ours . Why?
