Game day blog - Titans vs Eels

It's been a while since we have seen the boys in action and the Panthers game seems a long time ago. Origin is done and we can all get back to enjoying watching our team play.
The Titans come into this game with some good form. Bumeater Fifita should be menacing and hard to handle, but will he be? Paulo is out for the Eels whilst Moses has been named, but will he play?

I have a feeling that this will be a high scoring game and hope that the boys can get the win, particularly with the run of difficult games coming up.

The Eels are now based at the Gold Coast for at least four weeks in what are crazy circumstances.I'm heading up for this game and I can potentially watch three Eels home game over the next month two hours from where I live on the north coast. I may become a member! 😁

So, who wins and by what margin?

  • Tonight and for the foreseeable future, there will be double headers at Robina. I'll also get to watch Manly play the St George reserve grade team.

  • Not sure now that Paulo out & Simba at Prop, rather Kaufusi start, RCG will need to lead.

I hope Moses runs at the line and Dylbags passes, Titans will come out hot but should fade in last 20.

hard to go past Papa for MOM

  • The Titans at there best have points in them. They have a big forward pack. The Eels will need to be at there best to match them.

I have no confidence in Dylan to  lead if Mitch is rested, time for our backs to step up with points

    Titans 26 Eels 14.  MOM  A J Brimson

  • Titans can score points but there defence is bog average.

Our defence is good but our attack is stale.

We should win a close one.

    Parra 18 Titans 12

    MOM Guth

  • Worry game . They are a decent attacking side with lots if points and can attack both sides . We need to defend ourselves to victory because they will make mistakes if the points don't come easily .
my worry is where do our points come if Moses and Paulo are out .  Toss of a coin but Parra by 6 because our champion Reed is back ..

  • I think we will take the Titans lightly for large chunks of this game but jag the win in the end.

    Parra by 2

  • I'm hoping for a eels win but not confident as which side turns up, the side ready to play or the side expecting to win. Eels 24 titans 12 MOM Mahoney to have a big game.

"That's my concern too.
A few wins and suddenly all is well according to the board and then they extend BA for a few more years.
Rinse repeat and the problem will continue with no end in sight."
