Game Day Blog - Sea Eagles vs Eels

Tonight we see the battle of Brooky with the Eels again up against Manly, but this time on their turf and with a no doubt strong sense of redemption after a controversial win for the Eels a few weeks ago. Sanders makes his debut in a massive game, particularly for our boys. I have a feeling that we are going to get our arses handed to us tonight and face another week of media scrutiny and talk about BA in general.

So, who wins and by what margin?

MOM?

Go you Eels!!!

  • Why can't our defensive line work hard like this every week .

Our support plays still shit, might have to swap Harper and Simmo , Simmo seems intent on making decisions he doesn't have to make.

  • We are definitely on tonight. Lots of bodies in motion and great line speed.

Thought they would lift - like no other side this club, so Jekyll and Hyde.

    • Frank The Tank  we need to be mate for the 80. Must hold the ball and turn them around

  • Why isn't Sanders goal kicking , he's better then Gutho

  • The scoreboard will change very quickly with all the cheap ball we've given them, make there big boys work off the line

    • Agreed and it's only 20 odd mins in. We must be disciplined for the 80. Not sure we will be. Consistency is our issue

  • Obviously Matto was a part time footballer going by his change in attitude tonight.

    • Always has been lol!

      • Yes , but he obviously was a little riocked when Jesus got Brad to call him out about it.

        • Guessing Jesus threatened to fine Matto if he didn't play better.

"That's my concern too.
A few wins and suddenly all is well according to the board and then they extend BA for a few more years.
Rinse repeat and the problem will continue with no end in sight."
