Game Day Blog - Sea Eagles vs Eels

Tonight we see the battle of Brooky with the Eels again up against Manly, but this time on their turf and with a no doubt strong sense of redemption after a controversial win for the Eels a few weeks ago. Sanders makes his debut in a massive game, particularly for our boys. I have a feeling that we are going to get our arses handed to us tonight and face another week of media scrutiny and talk about BA in general.

So, who wins and by what margin?

MOM?

Go you Eels!!!

        • It makes a huge difference, for sure.

  • How fast did Sivo look there. Wish he'd run like that all the time

    • Must have taken something to get rid of his mystery limp...

  • People said Ethan Sanders was not ready. Well I know it is early days but he is showing very different. 10 days to change his mind. He is showing thius far he is well and truly better than our other back ups.

    • EE was sanders in contention for a top 30 spot around the same time as Jakob ?

he seems so much better a footballer 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

      • He was 15 turning 16 .

      • Hey Carlo, to my limited knowledge the Club brought Ethan into the picture after Jacob so I don't think that is a fair comparison. But geez, he is showing for more than the previous so called solutions.

        • Ok

          thanks for that

his passing with hardly a glance - impressive

      • No but he had to wait until he was 20 before making his debut whereas ja was 18 I think. Not that I think sanders should have made his debut younger but more ja was fast tracked before he should have been.

    • Yep he looks really calm and accomplished...

"That's my concern too.
A few wins and suddenly all is well according to the board and then they extend BA for a few more years.
Rinse repeat and the problem will continue with no end in sight."
