Game Day Blog - Eels vs Tigers

The Eels take on a Tigers team coming off a win in a very unexpected turn of events and unfamiliar territory for the boys! The traditional Easter matchup could be a hell of a game today with the Tigers brimming with confidence and an Eels team without their star playmaker n Moses.

Really looking forward to seeing how teenage sensation Talagi goes playing at 6 in only his second NRL game.

But what's even more intriguing is how will RCH play having lost a heap of weight after shaving off his mo!?

So, who wins and by what margin?

MOM?

GO YOU EELS!!!

    Moses MOM

    Foolish...I know

    • Eels by 6

Brown MOM if he is not we don't win.

  • Eel by a lot if not we aren't a top 4 side not even with Moses.

     Margin 20

MOM Russell to have a blinder

    • Well our forwards are better by a mile. There was a side by side put up between Paulo and Klemmer, the stats were so lopsided it was embarrassing in Paulo's favour. Just wonder how we get our points, unless Gutho gets his hands on the ball more and effectively.

  • Eels by heaps. Our forwards to demolish the Tigers. Blaize to score a nice solo try.

  • History shows this will be closer than most expect. I think the eels win by 6 or less, I don't think some people are taking moses being missing as seriously as they should.  If moses is out for 10-12 weeks we will not make the top 8, we are not as well drilled or as well coached as the panthers,  you just need to look at the differences in defensive stats to see that.

    • I really believe if we are struggling come the bye Moses will come back early. Not saying he should if not ready but it could happen.

      • 6-8 weeks is coming back early from this injury.

    • Agree totally HKF

it's a massive loss . His kicking game gets us out of so much trouble time and time again so that we can compete with the next set

even the psychological element of not having him to rely on us enough to upset the apple cart in tight matches

    • I don't think many suggest it's not a big loss. It obviously is. Our goal over the next 8 weeks or so isn't to play champagne footy, it's merely to get the 2 points. How is almost irrelevant. The entire squad needs to dig deep.

"They are everywhere.
On TCT, on here and especially on Facebook.
They support the coach more than they do the team."
