Game Day Blog - Eels vs Roosters

A big game again for the Eels and their finals prospects. No Moses! Sivo and RCG are back and hopefully Dylbro can lead the boys to a victory. The Roosters have found recent form, whilst the Eels have lost 3/4 of their games recently with only a sketchy win over the Dragons.

For me, RCG needs to lead the forwards around and Dylbro the backs with Asi needing to play a big role too.

So, who wins and by what margin?

Agree, hoping for Reg to lead. Also Sivo to not actually do something stupid for once, Dyldo McFingers to pay back the team & fans, Jnr Plodlo to play to at least 50% of his pay check and the defence to... well... maybe defend for a game.

  • Easy win to the Roosters by 50+

  • Chances are that this will be far from a sell out crowd, yet tickets for sale tonight start at $279 for one adult and one child. And they wonder why people aren't coming to games...

    • $279 ...they can stick that where the sun don't shine! Do you get a drinks package for that?

  • JWH out of tonight's clash.

    • If the pack can't dominate tonight then there is no excuse...

  • Ha ha what a bunch of turds

"Yeah, LB. The self-promotional narratives don't worry me much. That's commonplace. I suspect the club's mentality of stable, sure and steady, "the turtle wins the race" has evolved slightly since 2016 reform days.
