I think I'm correct when I say that this is our first Thursday night game of the year and it should be an absolute cracker and a microscope will be on the eels from all NRL supporters and media alike.
If the eels are to make a run for the top four and if BA has timed the team, given key players adequate rest throughout the season so far unlike previous years, then it all starts tonight with a run of top eight teams to encounter over the next month or so.
BA has stated just yesterday that we are in a better position right now to have a crack at a GF than in any other year in his nine years at the club. We will see...
The Broncos get four SOO players back and will be at full strength, so no excuses. Likewise the eels get Matterson back and will be at full strength excluding Dunster, so also no excuses.
It should be a big crowd out at Commbank stadium and hopefully the chronic masturbators who jeered young JA stay home and true supporters show up only. Also, I reckon at least a handful of the Broncos players on show tonight will play for the Dolphins at some stage, so it's an even more important game for so called eels supporters who are defecting to the 17th club to watch....Brissy and Ploppa take note!
