Based on Ryles' latest press conference, it seems all but confirmed that Galvin's time at the Tigers is coming to an end.

When asked about the possibility of signing Galvin—given the club's halves are already set for 2025—Ryles responded: "A lot of strange things happen in footy, but we're going to do the right thing by the NRL."

That sure sounds like something is already in motion.

There’s growing talk of a three-way player swap being finalised before the June 30 deadline, and most pundits now believe Galvin has played his last game for the Tigers.

On another note, Adam Reynolds has confirmed he's been in discussions with the Tigers regarding a move for the 2026 season.

        • Nah not saying it was 100% proof galvin is going there. Definitely terrible conditions.

    • Chris Smith? God that's a name haven't heard from for a while. Didn't think he was still relevant.

  • Last time you posted predictions the opposite happened.

So I am of the impression now that Galvin ain't coming

  • My gut tells me it's to the dogs I want so much to be wrong but...

    • Look on the bright side, Galvin to the dogs will basically ruin the rest of their season. Based on last night performance it's already taken a toll on the team and has disrupted their squad lol

      • Not really Eli, the conditions were atrocious and the weakness that the dogs have (in those conditions) is a light mobile pack which was not suited. If you noticed the Dolphins played straight up the middle and made a lot of metres doing so. That gave them the space to score some tries(out wide) that would you would not normally see in those conditions.

Wish for what you like but you still have to engage the brain.

        • Probably defensively their worst performance in a long time and just looked disconnected. Wait till Galvin actually gets there and players feathers get ruffled.

          • Storm didn't get ruffled when Dolphins put 40 on them and I was impressed with Dolphins game against us.

Don't let fear and desperation spoil your judgement Eli, every team is beatable in this competition.

            • For sure but seems like the dogs lack a genuine number 7, usually need those in wet conditions like that. Katoa owned the game

              • Yeh! but Sexton has had a good year, you could say that Katoa outplayed Moses in our recent game. That said I don't believe in such simple statements, eg, Sexton seems to be an organiser and having a 5/8 like Galvin makes him complimentary to the team.

Don't misunderstand me on this stuff, I haven't a clue where Galvin is going, contrary to my pricing view, I would still like to get him but I am pointing out that value alternatives still exist.

It has crossed my mind that Burton could go to 7 and Galvin 6 and they lose Sexton, but again I don't know. Put it another way, Burton has more chance of developing as a 7 than Dyllan Brown has. Burton appeals to having all the skills to be a half and that judgement will have been made by Gould and Carildo already if they are going that way. Fullback for mine makes more sense.

We don't like the Dogs, I get that....but you cannot say they are not a premiership threat, the way they are developing they have a very Penrith look and style about them and when you look at Gould and Carildo, they know exactly what that means.

Something else that gives you a little credence with your idea of player harmony is any residual disharmony transfers from Luai and Korisko (spell) to the Penrith boys at the dogs. I find that hard to believe  with the professionism of Gould and Ciraldo and therefore they know why Galvin is leaving.
