Fonua pole is another one hitting open market and been seeing from different sources he could be on eels hitlist aswell. If true I reckon we should definitely go hard for him,can definitely lock up the starting prop spot along side Spencer in 2028.
In the ceo update posted by eels a couple days ago.It says Mike rush and mon are very active in the open market for players that suit ryless style of play and Fonua pole definitely does.Similar build to Jack Williams and is a workhorse. Can definitely be our enforcer with Spencer.
Would youse take him at parra?

OK, fair points, but you realise he has done an Achillies and would start in Reserves and with that type of injury, he would be a writeoff for 27, that said if we signed him and then have Penrith pick up the dead year, there maybe some merit in your idea......I don't think I thought of it that way and it makes some semblance of a possibility if it was a bargain pickup.Â
Good stuff Shane!
Physically Blaise is definitely upto the task but his defensive decision making is an issue and has been since he's been at Parra.Riff you can sought of hide that issue without it being to much of a hinderance but here at Parra it'll get exposed. We all understand once the middle gets caved our edges as mentioned will get exposed and that's where we've got to improve.I'd almost contemplate wither changing out Williams Su'a and Kautoga to cover up the decision making frailty of Talagi if we were to go get him.
