Energy prices WTF

Non Eels blog but wtf

It looks like everyone's Electricity bill will rise by at least 40% from 1st of July this year. I've noticed that mine went up from a flat rate of 29c per klw to something like 40c, they stating that wholesale prices are rising & some bs about extreme weather wtf, and infrastructure upgrades.

I've shopped around on the net yesterday and found prices as cheap as 29c to 33c

The daily charges also went up from 70c to 121c, almost double mother fkrs.

Anyways,  all the best in finding better deals.

It looks like inflation will go through the roof aswell,  as major companies aren't going to absorb these price rises easily.

            • The issue is, the voters that provided the extra kick to get them over the line are the imported voters and the brainwashed at school young voters.  This country needs to implement a law that if you're on benefits you can't vote.  Watch it change then.  Students have no fucking clue what financial ramifications their votes for feelings and kindness have.

These fuckwit bitch and moan about never being able to buy a house, all whilst screeching about how us arseholes are voting for a party that wants to slow down importing people that are driving up housing prices. They wish to feel good about their votes for the hip and woke vibes , and won't even consider the alternative votes positives for their own wellbeing.

Then you have the flops who will vote one party because that's " their " party , like they're voting for The Eels , they also put 0% of their brains into any kind of thought process around the alternative . They're probably the worse ones of all,  at least the dopey kids have hope of earning a crust and re-evaluating their choices once they can see where their tax goes.

I've always considered myself a swinging vote , I've voted both parties, if Labor managed to find someone more towards the centre next round , they'd be a strong consideration 100% , but they're so far towards the Greens these days , they're not even remotley in my interests. I may as well just go down the shops and hand some bludger named Albert  sitting outside with his WWE tshirt smoking vapes and swigging his Monster Energy ,  10k and my " spare ciggy cuz" That's what voting Labor is to me.

Anyone who doesn't class themselves as swinging has no place voting, they're merely supporters , note voters.  I've always looked at it like the NRL comp, imagine if all voters were like us fans , imagine everyone just stuck by your political team no matter how bad they are going and what dopes are in the club, how in the fuck do you expect that to look running our country ?  It's a ridiculous concept to tie yourself to a political party like a footy fan.  It's irresponsible and the main reason this country with such great assets is fucked.

People whine and sook about corrupt governments , well voting like dumb fans is the sole reason these fuckheads can get away with it, they can literally run the numbers of how many stooges they'll win or lose based on their rusted on fans.

Now imagine voters weren't rusted on and this year we could all swing to be Raiders fans or Canterbury fans as they're showing they are performing well,  or the last 4 years we'd thrown our support behind Penrith , now what does that make clubs like Parramatta do with fuckwits like Mark Oneill ?  He's gone .

It's so frustrating living in Wollongong where we are literally starved of Goverment money by both Labor and The Libs , it's a safe as houses Labor seat , so the Libs will give us some bread and dripping when they have power and Labor literally let us starve as they simply can not lose this area. Fuckwits will vote for them even if they broke in and rooted them and their wife in their sleep and drove off with their car . Don't care who I offend, if you're over the age of 30 and only ever seriously considered voting  one party , you're a goose and are the problem.

              Friday rant ended.

              • if you're over the age of 30 and only ever seriously considered voting one party , you're a goose and are the problem....Good Finish to your Friday Rant

              • You still have a voice in the senate.

  • Chiefy, fully agree; and its been a sham for over 10 yrs tbh; Labor are terrible and Libs have no balls.

We needed a person with some business sense and smarts; a Trump like leader not these muppets now.

But look who voted for whom....is says a lot; Albo the poodle got minimal votes and the Lobs were even worse.

Led by woke kneed people who bow to china.

  • This energy transition, coupled with so called climate change, is the biggest con in history. It's been termed the biggest transfer of wealth from the poor to the rich. Let that sink in. And it's all been ushered in by the Left, who have some of the richest people in the world in their ranks now.

The mainstream media give these bums a complete free ride on it, which goes to show how far left media is these days. Usually it's only the middleclass or wealthy who own their home that have access to solar. People who rent or low income can't afford it. Now that the tariffs are slashed, the next con is batteries. Again, only the wealthy can afford to outlay 20K on solar and batteries. So they get cheaper power in the short term, which leaves once again the poor footing the bill. Not to mention all these union backed super funds backing all this wind and solar rollout too.

The left used to be for the poor or battler. And it shows how gullible and easily led the masses are for voting back in a dribbler like Albo.
