Sean Russell

For all the positives around the development of individuals and the team this year .. if this bloke plays more than about 3 games for us next year it will be another long season .
Not a first grader , makes the same poor reads every week in defence , doesn't know he has a Ferrari outside him and can't even do his simple jobs well. He should be a stop gap player at best not a week to week regular.
He has no idea how to execute the basic parts of the game let alone take half chances . Very very average player .

  • Well prepare yourself.

  • I think hes improved in defence but attack offers nothing

  • He's a Ron Massey cup player. How he's played so many games is a mystery

  • Papalii also. As much as I like him, he's not even close to being a fg 5/8. Walker to 6

    • Papalii needs Moses outside him to control the game and the rest of the season will be important for him.

Russell is useless . His decision making and ability is Cup level at best . Very unreliable player , you can't rely on him in any part of the game.

      • Agree with both of your points. However papalii, whether he has Moses or not had no clue what he was doing all day

      • no he needs to stop the flashy big plays Moses wouldn't help him still another season or two off

  • What's this German Shepard barking below me while I post.this site has really gone to garbage

    • Mate I couldn't agree more with you.

More garbage here than the local tip.

  • Surely Simmonson to left next week and Penis to the right? With Moses back hopefully we can just win a few and not get spoon.

Russell is a good back up, thats it.

"Both are extended til 2027. Fletcher seems to be really impressing in pre-season, similar to what Smith did last year. Not saying he gets near FG but he could play Cup earlier than expected maybe."

"They were getting too old for Flegg and we have much better for NSW Cup. I would've kept one of Lewis/De Straddis as they are versatile, but they would have started in Ron Massey so can't blame them going for a better offer. "
